Interim Business Application Consultant (TOS)

As a Business Application Consultant, you will be responsible for the management and further development of our new Terminal Operating System (TOS). TOS is the backbone of our modern container terminal

And by doing so, you contribute to the optimal management of the operation, correct administration of our service and customer communication.

This includes:
– Automated gate and cranes;
– Yard/Vessel planning;
– Connections with the outside world (Portbase, customers, Customs);
-Invoicing;
– Reporting en BI.

You support the business in the use of the software and supervise the development of software towards the supplier and the internal organization. In addition, you register and manage issues, documentation and work instructions and provide software testing and user training.

As a Business Application Consultant, you are also involved in the change and improvement management of the organization. Operational Excellence is extremely important to RST and this is where we – as an IT department – play a role 

You will work in an enthusiastic and young team and will report to the Team Leader IT Applications.

Requirements

• At least a completed higher professional education in IT or similar;
• Work experience in the sector and/or with IT projects co’ncerning TOS
• Experience with the port and logistics;
• Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language in both word and writing.
